Can't believe nobody posted about this, happened for a while. Anyway, Pakistani officials have confirmed at least 10,000 have died in a 7.6 magnitude earthquake and the death toll could reach up to 18,000. Damn this shit's crazy, the Tsunami, the flood in the N.O. and now this. Buildings collapsed everywhere in Pakistan.

On another note, at least 500 were killed in Guatemala due to a mudslide/flash flood and at least 300 people are missing. They are still digging bodies out the mudslide, this shit's a trip.

Death toll seems to range quite a bit, but the most common number I've seen so far is 20,000.

America could learn from the "immediate aid" thing. All that McDonalds makes you a bit sluggish I guess.

Death toll surpassed 30,000 in the earthquake and aftershocks. 5 million left homeless, and many still missing and buried under mass destruction of buildings. Guatemalan Mudslide took 650 lives, over 300 injured and hundreds still missing, feared to be buried under mudslide. Hurricane Katrina took over 1,000 Americans.
