On a noise/experimental/ambient/bunchaothershit board I go to they have a pretty big screamo thread that is very on point with what we listen to and I've seen a few newer names dropped that I never heard before. I'll check that out tommorow when I'm off and put some stuff from the new bands...

I still like Saetia although their songs are really hit or miss with me. Smurf used to love them but now doesn't at all lol. They are a good starting point for anyone getting into that type of music though.

I listen to screamo (real screamo, not that scene shit they call screamo) still a lot but haven't kept up much with any newer good bands. I listen to mostly older shit like I,Robot, Raien, Kidcrash, Indian Summer, Amanda Woodward, etc. I need to start looking for some newer good bands again...

Just my opinion. If someone loves the new album (which I obviously only heard one song from) then that's great for them. I thought the one before it was terrible then after hearing the lead song from the new one I literally laughed. That's how bad I thought it was.

Yeah, I worry sometimes too. Then I remember that their are a lot of great bands that are around the same age as the band you posted, like these guys for example... Bb9csK3yzxM ...and it gives me hope for the future lol.

lol @ us recommending different ablums as our favorites. I mean you did recommend 23 but said you didn't like it as much as their older stuff but personally I think 23 is fucking awesome. Well I guess it just shows how good of a band they are if we just more or less recommended their whole...

Shiny Toy Guns fucking suck IMO. Blonde Redhead on the other hand are fucking awesome. If you are just a casual listener of "rock" music I don't know if you'd enjoy them much as they are pretty damn different then your normal bands. Anyways, from them I'd check out Melody of Certain Damaged...
