    Speed/Thrash Metal

I only listened to their myspace, but Municipal Waste sounds like they kick complete ass. Thanks for that. Judging from that, I think you might like Razor or Merciless Death (I personally prefer Razor, as I think MD's singer is annoying as hell except when I'm drunk).

    Speed/Thrash Metal

^^not thrash. But the real reason I brought this back is to see if anyone has something else to add. Thrash is my favorite genre. Anyone?

    [Request] Agalloch - A Fragment

The song that says The Wolves of Timberland is actually supposed to be The Wolves of Timberline, and it's part of a Split with Nest. There is no real Wolves of Timberline EP. The Nest song is called Last Vestige of Old Joy

    [Request] Agalloch - A Fragment

Yeah, someone bought me the orange splatter vinyl (limited to 200 copies) last year. It's like 20 minutes long and starts off like the last track on the album (noise), then (if I remember correctly) turns into a nice drawn out song a la the White EP. I only listened to it once because I don't...

    [Request] Agalloch - A Fragment

Awesome! Thanks for the upload. That blog is pretty dope. One track that's missing from there is the bonus track from Ashes Against the Grain vinyl releases. I'm going to try to find the track by itself so no one has to d/l the entire album.

    [Request] Agalloch - A Fragment

I know there's a request thread, but I figured a separate topic might get more attention, which may be in the best interest of the members of this forum (considering most or all of us are Agalloch fans). Anyhow, I'm looking for an Agalloch song called "A Fragment". It's apparently an ambient...

    Live songs/albums

There are a few bands that I like live and most are from the 60's and 70's (namely pink floyd) because they would play different versions of the songs, and would vary from concert to concert. I know there are bands that do that nowadays, too, but nothing really that I listen to. I guess what...

    Metallica - Best album?

That's because Death Magnetic is boring, sounds forced, James is officially a horrible vocalist, and Lars is officially a horrible drummer. Which is sad because it's not a bad album by any means, I'd actually call it a decent album. But it's kinda like..who gives a shit? It's background...

    Global Metal (Movie)

^^ChthoniC is awesome! I just found out about them about a month ago. Strange coincidence. Dude on the top left looks like he could be on some sort of a rap album cover. "Chthonic call their makeup "ghostpaint" instead of "corpsepaint" and base it on the 8 Generals of Hell in Taoist lore...

top 5 bands/artists this very second

Metal Church Necromandus Satan Angel Blake Setherial I've been on a heavy metal/NWOBHM kick lately (except Setherial). Necromandus is a band from the 70s managed/produced by Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, and I never realized how much Metal Church kicks ass until a few weeks ago.

    Metallica - Best album?

I like it because the songs are darker, longer, and I think the murky production serves the atmosphere well.
