i cant stop listening to this album, it didnt stand out to me much on first listen.. but after i saw them perform heir apparent live (progressive nation tour) a couple days ago, this album is near flawless.. fav opeth albums go like this: blackwater park watershed ghost reveries deliverance...

i couldnt agree with you more, BWP is best shortly followed by Ghost Reveries, then Deliverance, then Damnation (i dont like how opeth stuck to one sound very much)

did you even read what your wrote? your sentence, (if it even is a sentence) makes no sense the drummer of voivod is in a new band called Kosmos.. you should check out their self-titled album (70's space rock with ALOT of other influences and sounds mixed in)

haha cradle of filth does a really bad cover of this song... my little brother loves it, but i cant stand it. CoF is horrible to me, but maiden is exalted and i love almost all their work.. gawd, i wish they went thru with the iron maiden SB Dunks, i would have at least 2 pairs and rock the shit...

TMV is one of those love them or hate them bands.. and i dont know why everyone says ATDI is good... ive tried and i think ATDI is annoying as fuck.. i dont get it, i love TMV but hate ATDI.. anyone tell me why?
