That fact that he's still in power after being convicted on multiple counts of raping underaged girls and that these people literally now have pictures of him in their houses, at their work desks, on the dashes of their cars. It was fucking insane. Then some of the testimonials from those that had fled or were banished. Dude is only getting crazier, often doing hunger strikes "for them" while in prison, having a lot of the older men now banished, and the followers that aren't are becoming even more devout because they believe he is being martyred and is currently excommunicating the wicked out of their city before he dies for them. I wouldn't be surprised if some serious Jonestown type shit hit the fan out there in the next few years.
I know adam sandler hasnt been funny in over a decade but i gave ridiculous 6 a shot just cuz the star studded cast and wow i dont think i laughed once.

Those were both really good and really jarring as well. Whenever I watch these type of documentaries all I can ever think is "What in the fuck, how?" afterwards lol Like how do people buy into this type of thing and on such a massive scale. It's so perplexing to me.
Anyways yeah if you really want to feel bad about the world watch Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God about the Catholic church and the cover up and relocation of possibly hundreds of pedophile priests and even some higher up in power.
Also Jonestown: The Life and Death of Peoples Temple is really good too. Jim Jones was fucking insane. Listening to the death tape leading up to the mass suicide and hearing people trying to argue with him why they shouldn't do it, can hear kids and women weeping, while others clap and praise him is just some really fucking surreal shit.
