its gonna be a boring fight. but mayweather will be victorious.
if the ppv is 100 bucks, i will be at the movies watching it.
Yeah the only downside to this fight is there is no possible way it lives up to the expectations (just like Mayweather vs Oscar was a letdown). They don't have the styles of Hagler-Hearns and a KO doesn't seem likely. But you never know, anything can happen. I'm just happy it's finally going to happen and the 5 year debate can be put to rest (unless there is draw lmao).

manny needs to go out in a blaze of glory and just give mayweather everything he got. he has really nothing to lose. perfect what maidana was trying to accomplish in they first fight.
the promo packages leading up to the fight are gonna be great though. like on sum wwe dramatic type shit.

yeah the problem is you described the Pacquiao from 2009 and prior. Unfortunately he's not the explosive monster he once was, although he was showing glimpses if it against Marquez before he got put to sleep.

The shoulder roll has a weakness and that's southpaws. Stylistically a high volume, extremely fast combination puncher is bad for Floyd. But I just think the best days of Manny are well behind him. But I'm gonna go against logic and pick Pac to win a controversial decision. I think Manny trains like he hasn't for years for Floyd and shows up beastly. We'll see though.

The hype is going to be entertaining as fuck, possibly more so than the fight. I hope Floyd goes all out promoting this - trash talking, personal attacks, everything. Let it all out haha

MGM Grand Hotels Sold Out In 15 Minutes For 5/2
Posted by: Jake Donovan on 2/20/2015 .

By Jake Donovan

If you’re currently thinking about booking a room in Las Vegas for the May 2 weekend, then you already need to start thinking about a contingency plan.

Floyd Mayweather came dangerously close to breaking the Internet with his official confirmation that the long awaited superfight with Manny Pacquiao was signed and sealed.

Ticket price points have yet to be confirmed, but fans, media and high rollers didn’t waste any time in securing reservations for the fight weekend. Hotel rooms at the MGM Grand—the hosting venue for the May 2 event—were sold out no more than 15 minutes after Mayweather made his announcement through his verified social media account.

Chances are all remaining hotel rooms along the Vegas strip – and perhaps the outskirts of town as well – will be gobbled up in the coming days. Fans can also expect to be left with table scraps by the time tickets finally go on sale.

The event will air live on Pay-Per-View in a joint effort between Showtime and HBO.

LOOOOL! Floyd doesn't fight speedy fighters using the shoulder roll...not in the beginning...he squares up with them in a traditional stance and jabs...he waits to get the timing which is around the time they slow down. Then he goes into the shell and begins the walk down process. Manny doesn't have the physical make up to press Floyd...Mayweather will tie Manny up in the inside and jab him to the pit of the stomach. Floyd covers so much distance (as Marquez found out) it's gonna be ugly. Manny's major flaw is that he "runs" forward when he attacks and that is gonna be dangerous when fighting Floyd (take note Mayweather vs Maidana 2) Mayweather gave Chino such a small window to work with and shifted on him left to right...this fight is gonna be over with by the 6-7th round. Freddy Roach in Manny's corner, "Your falling behind son...if he wins the next 2 rounds Manny your gonna need a knock out."

Just look at the Floyd vs Judah. If Judah was more serious about his career and that fight he would have won. He gave Floyd so many problems but he just didn't have the stamina for it. But Judah was the fighter to expose how vulnerable Floyd can be to a skilled southpaw.
