We just got my favorite yelp review yet:
So I decided to shake things up from the usual Supercuts routine and went searching for a barber shop. So many choices in Alameda but I went with The Studio because of the good reviews. That's soon to change. I called on a Wednesday afternoon, hoping to get a haircut after work that day. I was told that they're extremely busy that Wednesday and that I should make an appointment. I asked if I can come in tomorrow at 3:30 PM and was told yes. The next day, I ran a little late (3:35pm) but I thought it'd be cool with them. I walked in and told one of the barbers that I had a 3:30 appointment. He gave me a completely confused look and asked the other two barbers if they knew anything. The other two shrugged and I was asked to take a seat. That's the first red flag. I saw that all 3 barbers were working on their customers and that there were 4 other people ahead of me. No biggie, I thought - I'd be in and out within 30 mins tops. 15 minutes later, another customer walked in and almost immediately, he was picked up by the 4th barber who was hiding in the back. And they obviously knew each other by the way they greeted. WTF! Finally, after waiting about 45 mins and noticing that the same 3 customers were still being worked on as I'd stepped in, I was fed up with the complete lack of customer service. I mean, what's the point of making an appointment if the merchant refuses to honor it. And if they're not going to keep my appointment, then shouldn't they at least take customers on a first-come, first-serve basis, instead of favoring their friends first. I guess this is to be expected from an establishment that looks like it's run by ex-cons. AVOID this place like the plague if you value good customer service. Peace out!

Right of the bat, BASEDVATO @BASEDVATO and VERSACERO @VERSACERO have been there, it is an extremely nice barbershop, that can only be an appearance comment, because jonny is Mexican, raul is black, and I look like a serial killer...

Secondly, I was the one that took the phone call, scheduled a 3:30 appointment, then sat there from 3:25-3:40 waiting for that fucker to show up with a shop full of waiting people.

I usually give 5 minutes or so before I move on, but I gave him an extra 5 because he sounded so cunty on the phone.

He wasn't there, I moved on. The part about nobody acknowledging his appointment is bullshit, I looked him dead in his face and told him his apt was with me, I had to start on a walk-in and I had him next. Dickhead sat there for 15 minutes and then left without saying anything.

I guess he could imagine that the next guy that walked in and got sat right away, was, god forbid, on time for his appointment?

Problem with Yelp, is everyone things there opinion is valid, and worth something. If I go on yelp and see like 8 good reviews to 1 bad review - I normally think the person giving the bad review is probably a miserable person.

here's my favorite yelp review of the bar I work at:

The owner is a womanizer, the kitchen staff will mean mug you if you accidentally make eye contact with them and have been known to start multiple altercations to full on fights.. Frozen bar food and mediocre service.. Very sorry excuse for a restaurant in downtown Walla Walla. I honestly can't believe it's still open.

I was at Habit burger the other night, and this lady was yelling getting hyphy over like $1 or $2 discrepancy over the bill. I wanted to throw a dollar in her face, and tell her to shut the fuck up.

Before leaving, she then grabbed on of the employees and started being rude about how the bathroom was dirty. This is a busy ass saturday night.

Those are the type of people who give 1 stars.
