He paid bloggers to start writing about his music and quite a few of his initial youtube views and likes were bought because people found big chunks of comments that were automated and basically the same. He's not the first person to ever do that shit, it's pretty common, but dude more or less bought a buzz and then the getting chased off stage by his girlfriend (or might have been wife) more or less extinguished that.

She allows it but not everyday and I can't be getting drunk and acting a fool. I still sneak it too cuz why the fuck not... lol ever since I realized I can be drinking beer on my lunch break it's nice but cost me hella money since its $3 a can
