I think Sherman is still one of the best DB's in the game but Boldin caught every target (all 12) thrown his way, and while most of them were short plays (98 yards total) it was evident that Boldin was having his way with Sherman, as he made several tough catches with Sherman all over him. Going against the "best db in the league" that's not a monster game, but that's not a shutdown game by Sherman either. Both Boldin and Sherman are physical and match up well, and yesterday's game showed that the Niners can work around Sherman. That being said, I do find Sherman annoying and it's nice to shut him up for once.
