His cardio has always been awesome up until the last 2 fights when he didn't have good weight cuts. I think the only time I've ever seen him slow down in the 3rd was maybe the Rashad fight, but he didn't even have a camp for that fight.

Watch his fight with Dan Henderson, Rampage was a machine for the whole 25 minute fight.

I'm thinking without bad weight cuts and wrestlers grappling with him his cardio is gonna be beastly in boxing.

lol, that's funny cuz that's the only time his cardio game was on point imo, the forrest fight too kinda, he faded a lil with those leg kiccs.

Jones went 12 rounds against Denis Lebedev. Rampage has never boxed proffessionally before, whole different ball game...different punching techniques, footwork, etc. Even a shot Jones makes any life long mma fighter look stupid, even Silva. Just like any past it mma fighter would make a boxer look stupid in the cage. Dont matter how hard a guy hit when its a totally different sport.
I actually still give Rampage a decent shot in this fight. He has some decent skills if he doesn't have to worry about someone shooting in on him, I think he could give Jones all he can handle (at this point).

Na, Rampage wont even land a solid punch i dont believe. MMA fighters have no business trying to box unless you were previously a boxer before going into MMA like KJ Noon. Just cuz Roy Jones aint quite what he used to be doesn't mean he wont make an amateur look stupid and basically Rampage is an amateur when it comes to boxing skills and Rampage was one of my favorite MMA fighters. Sure he looks decent and has power when boxing other MMA fighters but thats not really saying much.

Yeah, and not to mention that Rampage looks like crap now even in MMA. Not to mention he'll be slower with 10oz gloves on.
You gotta realize Rampage was looking like crap in his last couple of fights because he couldn't keep weight off, dude is 35 years old and was cutting from 250+ down to 205. He just outgrew Light Heavyweight as he got a little older.

For the Bader fight he came in 6lbs. heavy cause he couldn't cut the weight lol

Dude should be fine now if he takes fights at Heavyweight, he was killing himself cutting almost 50lbs.

From what im hearing this will be at cruiserweight (200). Jones has no business at heavyweight
Jones is gonna destroy Rampage then, unless Rampage gets another six figures training camp paid for by Muscle Pharm again like he got for the Jon Jones fight, I don't see him being able to cut to 200 and not fuck himself up doing it.

This is what he's been looking like appearing on TNA wrestling recently, dude is huge and 6'1" and that big.

fuck up news if this goes down Second Largest Cable Company To Drop Showtime?

rom fightnews.com

UPDATE: Time Warner and CBS have reportedly agreed to an extension that will allow Time Warner subscribers to continue receiving CBS programming through July 29 at 2PM PT, so it looks like Berto-Karass is a go for this weekend after all. The main argument is between Time Warner and CBS, Showtime’s parent network. If no deal is reached by the time the current contract expires, CBS and its owned networks including Showtime will “go dark.”
Official Statement from Time Warner Cable: “[We are] willing to pay for CBS, and we have offered them significant fees. But their current demands don’t represent a good value for our customers.”

Subscribers of the second largest cable company in the U.S. could now be missing out on even more boxing. Time Warner Cable, which has yet to strike a deal with FOX to carry the new Fox Sports 1 network which debuts in mid-August and also doesn’t offer Wealth TV, is now threatening to drop SHOWTIME. The premium network has notified subscribers via Facebook that the ax could fall AS SOON AS TOMORROW and Time Warner customers might not get to see the Andre Berto vs. Jesus Soto Karass fight this Saturday night!
Time Warner Cable serves customers in 29 states including portions of major markets like New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso, San Diego, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Milwaukee among others. Note: Time Warner Inc., owner of HBO, previously owned Time Warner Cable, but sold off that division in 2009.

Rampage does not have boxing 10oz gloves punching power. Roy Jone Jr is old and shot to shit but I still think he can KO or out box Rampage. Punching power with 5oz gloves vs. punching power with 10oz gloves are like night and day.
