Class Members can select one of three sets of benefits from the Acer class action settlement:

(1) Obtain a free CD-rom, designed for their particular Windows operating system, that contains all the Windows recovery features that are allegedly inaccessible from the Acer eRecovery disks (estimated value $20). If Class Members replaced their hard drives and were unable to recover their operating system to the new drive, thy can also send their computers to Acer, which will reinstall the OS on the new drive for free (estimated value $99).

(2) Obtain a free 8GB USB drive, 720HD webcam, or mini optical mouse, if they were previously affected by the types of problems at issue in the case (estimated value between $11 and $16).

(3) Obtain reimbursement of money they spent to repair their computers due to a recovery issue, up to $50.

Nice. Did you see that one on here or the site we have linked? I never saw one for Safeway. Cali must have a lot strickter rules on things because I've noticed 5-6 ranging in money back that were Cali residents only.

The Court will hold a Fairness Hearing at 1:00 p.m. on October 12, 2011 at the Muscogee County Superior Court, 100 Tenth Street, Columbus, Georgia 31901. At the Fairness Hearing, the Court will consider whether the proposed settlement is fair, reasonable, and adequate. The Court may also consider Class Counsel's request for attorneys' fees, costs, and expenses, and the incentive award. If there are objections, the Court will consider them. After the Fairness Hearing, the Court will decide whether to approve the proposed settlement and how much to award to Class Counsel as fees, costs, and expenses and the incentive award.

The Fairness Hearing may be moved to a different date or time without additional notice, so it is recommended that you periodically check www.DrywallSettlement.info for updated information.

Ya'll are thinking too much about it. Just forget about them and let the cash, etc come to you when it comes. If you are ever deemed ineligible they have to send you a letter (most times, sometimes an email) stating that you were and why. If you haven't heard anything it means they are still either doing legal proceedings or in the process of getting the checks to people, both which take time and they usually have decent period of set dates to do so by.

lol crazy i just brought it up but it just updated for the lowes shit

Top Class Actions has an exclusive update on the Lowe’s Drywall Class Action Settlement reached in July 2010.

The last time we reported on the Lowe’s Drywall Settlement was in October 2010, when we provided readers with details on how to file a claim. Consumers who purchased or installed defective drywall from Lowe’s before July 27, 2010 had until July 15, 2011 to file a claim to receive between $50 and $4,500 from the class action settlement. Since then, no new information about the settlement has been provided on the settlement website, www.drywallsettlement.info.

Yesterday, we spoke with Class Counsel attorney Patrick W. Pendley of the law firm Pendley, Baudin & Coffin. The good news is that the Lowe’s Drywall Class Action Settlement has been approved by Superior Court Judge Bobby Peters. However, two appeals have been filed that must be cleared before the settlement can be finalized and benefits distributed to Class Members.

Pendley says he is hopeful that the appeals will be dismissed and that the class action settlement will go forward.

“Judge Peters wrote a lengthy opinion approving the settlement, so I have no doubt it will go forward. Had it not been appealed, we would have been well under way,” said Pendley.

Keep checking TopClassActions.com for updated information about the Lowe’s Drywall Class Action Settlement as it’s made available. We will notify Class Members as soon as we learn when settlement benefits will be distributed.
