The room right after you get the flamethrower. man. With the rising water and the 1 guy you have to kill. I beat it without using the flamethrower, but I want to get the every gun achievement.
When the water starts rising just start walking to your right. Cross the bridge on the right side so the guy can't shoot at you. When you climb the ladder you'll have to kill 3 guys in that room and you can do it with the flamethrower.

I was supposed to return it to Blockbuster this past Wednesday but that auto fanatic achievement was damn near impossible to get. Most of it is pure luck and timing, guides included. I'll rent it again when the DLC shows up. 40 outta 50 achievements so far.

A handful of downloadable content is coming to detective game L.A. Noire. The DLC includes standalone cases, in-game items and challenges.

"With its blend of real crime influences and noir atmosphere, L.A. Noire contains boundless potential for new stories and new cases," said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games, in an official release. "The four new cases are strong standalone stories that sit perfectly alongside the main game."

Starting today, "The Naked City" DLC case ($4.00 for PSN/320 Microsoft Points), "A Slip of The Tongue" DLC case ($4.00/320 Microsoft Points), Broderick Detective Suit and Gun ($1.00/80 Microsoft Points), Sharpshooter Detective Suit and Gun ($1.00/80 Microsoft Points), The Badge Pursuit Challenge ($2.00/160 Microsoft Points), and Chicago Piano Machine Gun (free community unlock) are available.

On June 21, "Nicholson Electroplating Disaster" DLC case will be released, and "Reefer Madness" DLC case follows on July 12. Both are priced at $4.00/320 Microsoft Points.

Also starting today, you can buy the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass, getting access to all offered DLC. A limited time offer, it costs 10.00 (PlayStation Network) or 800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE), which is half price what all the DLC costs individually. The DLC can be downloaded once it becomes available.

this seems like a game that NEEDS dlc. i had a feeling the replay value would be low.. from what i can tell its a very story-oriented experience, full of dialogue & cut-scenes. it seems kinda like a movie or a tv series, where you get through it once & then dont play it again until a few years later when you're in the mood for it.

This is exactly why I'm waiting for the eventual GOTY Edition of this game that will cost $60, and be $40 soon after. I'll cop when it's $40 lol.
