Please include **Spoliers** if you discuss the movie with any depth which may potentially ruin what happens for those who have not yet seen the movie.

See something on TV last night? Get a new shipment from Netflix? Hit your local video rental place? Swing past a Redbox?

What did you think of what you saw?

I watched FAQ About Time Travel yesterday. I actually found out about it ojn this forum from I beleive LDS.

Anyhow, i liked it. It was short (about an hour and 11 mins) but it didnt need to be any longer, IMO. The plot is about three guys, one of which is into time travel, who all have dead end jobs and are just, for the most part, ordinary people. One gets fired from this job and is obsessed with time travel (one other is also into scif-fi, while the 3rd isnt into any of that "nerd" stuff as he puts it), The non-believer goes to the bathroom and something strange happens. From there, you get a movie that is part comedy part sci-fi, obviously about time travel. It covers the rules of time travel and how they can or can not work in the case that time travel actually did exist.

I recommend it.

I watched the new Star Trek last night finally. I have mixed feelings about it.

It was good overall action movie, but it could have been so much better. They obviously spent too much time on special effects and action, and less about the characters themselves. It was interesting to see the young characters, how they came about, their struggles, etc., but not enough time was spent exploring these areas. Things advanced so quickly it didn't give us time to really follow the character growth. This movie was simply meant to be a big box office hit with nice special effects that makes the crowd go ooh and aww and throw in the catch phrases from all of the characters at least once to get a good chuckle.

Many people don't like star trek (the original show), but I was a fan. As funny as Captain Kirk and spock were and how ridiculous the fight scenes were, etc., the show served many purposes, one to show that we are all humans and racism, etc. will be a thing of the past (the show came out during the time of the civil rights movement, it was a head of it's time with multi race cast, the first ever interracial kiss on American TV, etc.) and it also was intended to make us viewers think. There simply wasn't much thinking required for this film.

I just started the first season of Californication. This show's got me hooked so far. I guess any show or movie about a depressed person is going to be a bit depressing, but this show still has plenty of moments that are funny as fuck.

I just watched "Shrink"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1247692/

I give it 2.75 out of 5

It had its moments and attempts at a tear jerker. I'm not a fan of the style of movie like Crash where they have a bunch of random characters and some how they all interact and find each other. I would have thought more of this movie if it weren't for that type of style.

Worth watching streaming (like i did) when you're bored maybe, but I wouldn't recommend you go out of your way to rent it or anything.
