HELP: Anyone do Vinyl Trim?
I have ugly chrome trim around my windows and I wanted it blacked out. Anyone do this type of work and how much do they usually charge? I need this done before Friday, if that's even possible. Any help is appreciated, THANKS!

You can buy 3M tape at Auto Zone or better yet NAPA auto that will cover it up. Measure the thickness of the chrome strip and they will find an appropriate size for you. Don't let decal shop do it for you. They will charge you a shit load of money for something you can do by yourself.

Thanks bro. About the 3M tape, I had that on for the last 2 months but it doesn't hold up as well. I'm putting my car in Hot Import nights this weekend and decided to get it professionally done.

Why don't you paint or powder coat the trim?

Also nice car glad to see you didn't do like the silver car on the first post... that car looks more Japanese than German.

I like to see clean BMW's, lowered, rims, tint, emblems shaved. Not excessive body kits, spoilers and nonsense that is not needed...

Powder coating is relatively inexpensive. I was going to have my rims done on the Impala and it was only going to cost $75 a wheel. I don't think two panels will be too much.

haha I'm thinking about getting them painted or powdercoated but the best price I can get is 210, which is the same price as the OEM piece. I might just cash out the 200 for the original piece.
