couple quotes about the blazers....said to be from espn...

Im still torn with our SF... I dunno if its gonna be webster or outlaw, they will have to prove it in Camp and pre season
and who knows if Ike is still on our team, probably more deals coming....
also no james jones I guess some team is offering him 5 years 25mill... He's good, but not worth THAT much

Webster/ Outlaw/ Batum (KP says Batum will be on the roster this year)
Aldridge/ Frye/ Digou

I think Outlaw will still come off the bench for 2nd unit instant offense. He likes coming off the bench and usually plays better off the bench. Plus he has stamina issues due to his asthma. I have a feeling Webster is going to establish himself as a legit starter this year too. He has all the tools he just has to put it together. Training with Kobe in LA in the off season is a good start. The only question mark is starting pg. Bayless will eventually be our starting pg, but its rare for a rookie pg to come in and start for a team that has a decent veteran starting already. Bayless might start on opening night, but I think if not then, he'll definitely be starting by the midway point of the season. Not quite sure about the Frye/Digou situation either. Diogu might get a lot of minutes as a backup because of his contrast to what LMA brings. With Frye there's a lot of duplication (not really a bad thing, but sometimes you need a guy to get in the post and throw his weight around).

if the warriors make the playoffs next year. the blazers will be there though. I'm not so sure that it is far fetched to think that the blazers will be top 5, with dallas on the downfall, san antonio looking older, warriors are streaky and shoot a lot of 3's, i mean if oden is 3/4 what we all hope he is going to be, we are going to be a power house. i do understand that we are probably going to be the youngest team in the league again, and have some "unproven" players, but oden had a lot of time to sit and scout opposing centers all year and get mentoring from raef and joel all year about the centers he'll go up against. rudy is proven the best player in europe and looks like he will fit in great, Bayless has an incredible work ethic and wants to be great, he has the drive, and the ability to learn quickly,aldridge is going to be an allstar, travis outlaw hopefully will be even more consistent next year along with webster, Joel will be the rough and tough guy comin off the bench, its really not fair that we get to have oden start, and if he needs a rest or is in foul trouble we get joel to clog up the lane, something we didn't have last year when joel went out...and plus we wont have jarret jack fucking up plays late in games!
^^ definatley will be there...im just sayin, and i don't know that NO will be the powerhouse that they were this last year, i mean its hard to say that when they did what they did last year, and they have CP3, but i could see them falling a couple spots, i didn't even mention the suns...lol...we will see, I just think that if we come together like i think we will, we are definately going to be a hard team to beat...specially at home
