Friday Night Fights (tomorrow) is going to be dope.

First off we got the Drunken Master himself, Emanuel Augustus vs undefeated Ruslan Provodnikov.

Next, Korean Ji Hoon Kim, who his last two fights on FNF have been nothing but pure action, this guy is all fight and heart, he's made for TV, vs a tough Ameth Diaz who rocked and buckled Joan Guzman's legs a couple times last year.

Anyone catch the Katsidis/Mitchell bout this past Friday? Katsidis came out and straight sparked the dude .. Mitchell had become a much bigger name that I thought he did drawing close to 30,000 people to the arena. The whole card was pretty decent and worth the watch ..

James DeGale (gold medalist) took on his first scheduled 12 rounder against a 15-1 fighter at 7-0 and looked alright getting a brutal KO. I just didn't like the way he chased it just walking Horton down throwing big punches instead of boxing and using his speed like he should. I like DeGale though and think he'll turn out to be a fairly good pro.

Chisora straight up brutalized Danny Williams for whatever that's worth. They were saying during the prefight hype that Williams' was training himself for the fight and was saying he'd retire no matter what the outcome for the fight so he was possibly just there for the paycheck.

.. and I'm downloading the Darchinyan Vs. Barcelona fight right now .. hopefully that turns out to be alright instead of what I'm thinking it's gonna be.

Goddamn. Vasquez looks like he already lost the fight. Look at his face.

As much as I don't want to see this fight happen, I can't wait for this fight.

Good Friday Night Fights.

Drunken Master looks old, I didn't like seeing him getting KO'd like that.

I won some money on Korean Ji-Hoon Kim, knew he'd come through with the KO.
I won some money too but I bet on the under 7 1/2 because the odds were better. I didn't see Diaz making past 7 anyway.

.. that last fight was dope. 2 young guys making their pro debuts going at each other .. and you'd have to think Figueroa would've been a better fight for Provodnikov even though I had Augustus over Figueroa when they fought each other ..

I can't wait for tonight man. I think Perez/Mares has me more hyped than Vazquez/Marquez IV. There's no easy title shots at bantam and Mares is taking on one of the tougher ones ..

what another great night of fights, 2 days in a row. I was going for perez through the first 6 rounds or so but marez won me over the way he fought back, obviously needs to be a rematch and was satisfied with the draw and to me is fight of the year so far. I was expecting a better fight and not so one-sided in the marquez/vasquez fight but marquez was real impressive with his combinations and all the power shots he landed. that eye of vasquez was something nasty hopefully doesn't need surgery, they do need to fight a 5th time cuz they both won twice

I agree except I think Vazquez should retire. The scar tissue on his eye is so bad the skin is literally drooping over his eye. Plus he's had two eye surgeries, he's risking going blind and he hasn't looked good in the ring since the 3rd fight with Marquez. Time to hang 'em up, wonderful career.

I forgot to add that mares counter shots were great even early on but was letting perez be the aggressor way to much. he should slipped more jabs in or something to get more respect.

Izzy needs to hang 'em up.

Damn Mares-Perez was good. It was super close, could've went either way. Someone explain though. Two judges scored for a draw, 3rd judge had Mares winning. How is this a draw?

Never seen this before.
