That card on the 22nd at the Staples is pretty dope!

Izzy vs Rafa 4

Then Abner Mares vs Perez...I think Mares is pretty solid. Turning into a complete fighter. He's got defensive skills too. Looking forward to that card.

Oh shit! Didn't notice that one! Yup that one is solid too. I hope Paulie gets his face smashed in.

I'm not sure about Margarito...I'm definitely not paying for that! I heard that Rios got injured, and I think someone else is stepping in to fight Antillon. Not 100% sure, but I thought that's what I read somewhere.

I don't think Vazquez/Marquez 4 is anything close to the other fights. Perez Vs. Mares is a fight I'm looking forward too on that card.

predictions for the Khan/Paulie fight?

I dropped a hundred on it going under 11½ rounds at +130. I think paulie is getting stopped. Anyone agree/disagree?
I disagree. Paulie may be goofy and a little out there but the dude has serious heart. If he gets stopped I'd be highly surprised .. this the same kid that had his face broken by Cotto and kept going, took a beating from Hatton and would've easily made it to the cards had McGirt not pulled the plug and was hurt several times against Ngoudjo and gutted it out to win the fight.

.. I'm actually picking Khan to win by a close decision but I wouldn't be surprised at a close Malignaggi win.

paulie fuckin sucks!

he's going to get crushed. And after the fight he's going to say Khan was on steroids. Mark my words!

LOFL! Khan is going to need steroids after a career ending KO like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAnTS9YWr-A lol! hes gonna need a whole new gameplan. no wonder hes scared to fight a big puncher like Madaina or Alexander he wont even call out Bradley(he would box circles around Khan lol). instead he wants to call out the big dogs like Mayweather and Pacman lol!(Khan is in it for the money, not for the love) get a career and build up a resume first. hes gonna have a rude awakening when he comes to the states and fights a smart boxer like Malignaggi straight up

He did get a whole new gameplan, he hired freddie roach since then.

Plus, paulie is one of the weakest punchers in the sport, he couldn't knockout a 9 year old girl if he tried, with his 5 KO's in his entire career (all coming early in his career against bums).

You're talking about other guys, I don't know why. Khan loses to Alexander, Bradley and probably Maidina too. But not Paulie. Paulie has no power, you don't have power you don't beat Khan, period.

On top of that, back when Khan was in the UK they had him sparring a bunch of stiffs. He comes to Freddie Roach and he spars with Pacquiao on a regular basis, and guys much bigger than him (he's lived in the states for the past 2 years now). This helps toughen you up, helps you take a punch better. Khan isn't the same guy who got KO'd by Prescott, I'm tellin you man the kid is good.

Here is a video of Khan sparring with Pacquiao, this was from 2008 not long after Khan moved to L.A, so from what I've heard their sparring sessions are even closer now as Khan has improved and got used to Pac's style.

Notice the speed of Khan is right there with Pacquiao. Paulie is in trouble.l

I was talkin about his speed and how he was holding his own pretty well with Pacquiao. Sparring is sparring but at the same time you can make some simple observations.

For example I can watch this video of James Toney sparring Danny Green (the guy who KO'd Roy Jones) and learn real quick that Toney whoops his ass any day any time!
