theres plenty of other brands with over 30 gig. wolverine has a 100 gig player.

exactly what I am saying. Im getting sick of cds in my ride and need a better solution. This zune thing got me thinking Im glad I didnt just cop that ipod, Ill wait patiently.

You can do that with any Zen mp3 player. It's got the play for sure s/w which makes it easy to transfer files to and from the player. I can load gigs of music onto my player, go to my friends and dump them onto his computer.

Yes...thats the reason i bought my Nano plus by Creative...im a drag n drop kinda guy....iPod,Sony and others....have to converted over...Creative just uses Flash type memory...

Although i cant necassarill SPEAK on the Vision...i dont see why they would change their format for that device....but who knows...

IPods already let you load songs from multiple comps...you just have to make sure you turn of Automatic Sync, which is what wipes out your IPod completely if it finds that the songs on your IPod dont match the ones on the comp. you connect it to.

I dont know if this will catch on, myself, I could care less what extra features there are...all I want to be able to do is load music onto my mp3 player, im not looking to browse the web or buy shit direct off the mp3 player. If you wanna get on the net on the go, use a sidekick, or most phones already have that included..... so we will see. Microsoft is known to each up competition, like its starting to do with XBOX but this will take time.

<<<<< Creative kinda guy. Check out the avatar! I absolutley love my Zen Micro. I plug it into the USB port on my car stereo to have 6gb of music all on one media. I havn't burned a CD in months.

yeah, I wanted something like that....its a cool idea since the thumb drives seem so useless.....at least you can listen to music with them......but they don't work on mac so fuckit

i got a zune, it fucking sucks converting videos to wmv format because once you sync to the computer it has to convert them AGAIN. pain in the ass but the screen is nice. you CAN use it as an external hard drive by making a simple registry edit.
