i've really been MIA on this site, i never knew folks fucked with Zmoney. i haven't really been following any mixtapes, so i haven't heard this but i've seen some of dudes videos and it usually is hit or miss.
i've been a listener of chicago rap since a teen in the 90s and i can still feel the new shit out there today. the westside used to be stereotyped as having not so lyrical dudes making tracks but now the southside is known for it with the drill shit. to me at least, it's still just music and if it bumps for me then i could care less if the content enlightens me or the lyrics would make shakespeare cry

No knock on the regulars in here that post up a lot, but some of the stuff yall listen to is a head scratching to me. But hey, if you like it you like it...i just dont get it.

This is exactly how I feel about it. I will always give it a try but a lot stuff posted on here ain't my type of music.
