aiight I'll put it #2 behind Jacka, but this shit is tight. Zion stepped his shit up for this one, got tight features (Talib, dude from Blackalicious, Del, Aesop rock, others) and Amp stepped up the beats.

Props 2 Mark 7 for puttin "The Bay" on one of his mixes a month back. This CD has a gang of good songs on there. Zion's gettin more political too, you can tell they really tryin 2 get the right message across and not just bullshit.

Ive been really impressed in the last few years with some of the underground hip hop cats representin the bay. I aint heard Zion yet but that new Living Legends CD Classic and Casual and Del's CDs are slammin and reppin bay area 2 da fullest.

I agree that Zion I is dope as fuck, definitely the best Bay CD this year. Im feeling Living Legends as well, I havent swooped up Classic yet tho. Im also suprised nobody on here ever talks about Murs, he always comes tight as well..

Zion is hella dope and the dude from blackalicious is another sicc ass Mc Gift Of gab. That talib joint is hot as hell. Im surprised this thread is here lol expecting another "YUKMOUTH DISSED HIS MAMA" lol j.k.

WOO FUCKIN HOO!!!!... finally more folks are listening to Zion I... They've been holdin it down for a while and Amp Live came through on more sicc beats... Just wished they would keep coming out with more stuff... and possibly make "the bay" like 10 mins longer.... that track is sicc... so is the song with del, track 15 i think... but yeah the whole shit knocks...

yeah i thought there was no hope on this forum for ppl to show love to acts like zion i among many others. im really digging true and livin. probably my favorite cd of thiers, though i really liked mind over matter. cant wait to see them live again

also, i was surprised to see them do a song with aesop rock. i didnt know they were connected. any aesop fans here? his new video "fast cars" is pretty fuckin sick. ill try to post it up
