Young soul / young Zoe - westside (branded a 2pac song)

Hi everyone,
I am trying to track down any information on an obscure underground rapper who went by the name Young Soul.
For many years, his song was mislabeled on Napster, Kazaa, and YouTube as an "unreleased 2Pac track" under the titles "West Coast" or "Westside". However, if you listen closely to the lyrics, he explicitly states his name is Young Soul ("Young Soul loves you", "see my niggs saying Soul please don't go").
Here is what we know from the track's lyrics, which heavily point towards a 1997 West Oakland (Bay Area)release:

• Year: He raps: "I made it, it's 1997 trick, I must get paid."
• Location: He mentions "coming straight from the Town" (Oakland), "the lower bottom" (Lower Bottoms neighborhood in West Oakland), and "the Willow" (Willow Street).
• Producer/Partner: He shouts out someone named "Scratch" at the beginning and in the chorus ("with my nig Scratch... if you trying to see me on my B, get scratched").
• Personal Shout-outs: He mentions a "Cousin Du Day", a woman named "Miss Jeanette" (who he dedicates Psalm 27:1 to), and his "two twin sisters".

It seems impossible that an artist with this level of talent, flow, and production only recorded this one single track.
Does anyone know the original cassette/mixtape this song was ripped from? Did Young Soul ever record under a different alias or as part of a local Oakland group around 1997–1998? Any leads, group names, or compiler credits would be highly appreciated!
