I just read that interview w/Nas in the General Hip Hop Forum about Hip Hop being dead and how that's not directed towards the South. He says in the interview that he thought the turning point when hip Hop started to go in the wrong direction was when Big & Pac passed and how everyone is in it for the money now but weren't alot of Big & Pac's songs about the same thing? Everytime I seen them on a video, interview or heard a new song they were shinin' or at least talking about it. I don't know it just seems funny to me how all of a sudden Hip Hop is dead now that the spotlight isn't where it's normally at which is the East Coast. If he thought like that why wasn't it being brought up when him, Jay & Diddy were running shit after Big & Pac passed?

@nasa they didnt get into rap for the money is what he means, there not tryin to capitalize off a movement like the south just to sell a few records and if you dont think hip hop is dead you dont know what the definition of hip hop is, theres only a handful of rappers that make music cause they like to now, they just try and make a song to get radio play thinkin there gonna go platinum theres no substance anymore

C'mon man, you act like you knew what their intentions were when they entered the game like you knew them personally. They claimed to be on the corners selling dope for cash before they entered the game and you trynna tell me they weren't in it to make money?

you peeps ahve to know that it seems really wack how nas is saying hip-hop is dead....almost all of that are from east.....and the game is one of the only non-east to say that.......east is saying that cause it aint in their favor.....hip-hop is not dead.....if it is, it would not be alive......hip hop is falling in terms of craft, creativity, etc.....but they still goood......since south is winnin, and east hasnt got a huge hit, they saying its dead......i mean i can feel the heat too the d4l, dfb are ruinin hip-hop but hip-hop aint dead because of them......hip-hop needs change....and wit new styles, it can help improve hip-hop

Jeezy is a new age master P, Master P 06.......Jeezy says Yeeehhhh, Master P said UUUGHHHHH, get the fuck outta here, young Jeezy is not original, guns, bitches, sellin dope, drivin nice cars....we havent heard that before, Like dude said nas would rap circles around master Jeezy.......!! So would 95% percent of the bay, southern music is ok if you like to hop around like a fuckin chicken snappin your fingers rockin back, but most of them have no lyrics, at least this commercial shit we see on the sheep herder "aka" the T.V.........My point is Master P 06 is hella weak...OVER & OUT
