So I was like 10 % away from finishing another myspace page for DJ Young Deezy and she wasn't feeling it! I think its pretty dope thats why I am still posting it on here.

Her reply:
"Honestly I'm not really feeling how it came out... the rainbow color sceme is a lil too much, I'm a pretty simple girl, hot pink and black are cool... and the top image is a lil too hip hop and complex looking to to me... If you can make it a lil more simple,girly&dj that would be cool......also rather than the logos on the side can you do something with another picture...


I appologize in advance for all the changes, I should have gave you more direction"

Her: "The only requests i have is If you can put the Vynil Squad Logo Small Somewhere on the top banner, and my website url (www.YoungDeezy.com) on it too that would be cool. I don't really have any ideas, (...)"

But its all good, Ill use it for something else later. Customer is King, I was just hella felling the layout lol

that sucks... Prolly just cus the bitch looks fat on the banner pic... lol and whats she talkin bout it looks to hip hop? aint she a hip hop DJ? Ill buy that layout off you for $50.... lol just put a big red no smoking slash over the pic of her, and Ill rock that shit

you should start emailing clients little contracts that they have to agree to stating that if they do not like your finished product they have to pay extra for new design/changes....thats your time theyre wasting man, and time is money. ive had this happen to me....like ok you sent me a pic to use, i took time to cut it out, edit it and implement it, then you send me a new pic, etc...

if i was you i would only offer to tone down the colors, and make her pay extra since she did not specify what she wanted her design to be like..

did you show her a photoshop comp before taking the time to code it in myspace?

it can save a lot of time to get feedback (and then do revisions if necessary) on a design before making it functional..

when it comes to a layout like this more work goes into the graphic not the coding, its only 1 background image and 1 header graphic...the same code is used for those basic layouts...full websites are a different story of courses.

Its all good I aint tripping she getting a basic layout like she wanted and cool lol

As far as MySpace layouts I charge $150 - $250 depending the mood I am in and who's asking.
