okay, go research your history and see when the last time the republicans had a majority in the senate AND congress AND had the presidency. you will have to go back 100 years

False. Fidel Castro was elected president. Presidential election last held 24 February 1998 (next to be held in 2003) If they really didn't want him anymore they'd remove him.

Secondly: Cuba is a socialist country not communist. And many even debate if it is even socialist. Cuba considers itself socialist but many consider Cuba state-socialist, which is different.

Cuba's National Assembly of People’s Power's deputies are elected by means of a direct vote, and candidates are not nominated by political parties. Unlike in the US.

Nominations are made in a more democratic manner. Electors meeting in assemblies in each neighborhood discuss the merits of those worthy of representing them in the National Assembly and make their decision. Money has no role in Cuban elections, either in terms of the election process or the remuneration of deputies. Unlike in the US.

The island endured 60 years of disastrous experiences with camarillas organized into so-called political parties. Washington’s response to Cuba's government reform was the Helms-Burton Act, whose Title II grants the U.S. Congress the faculty of defining when and if the Cuban government is or is not democratic.

why?, becuase during the coldwar, the US gave the word
communist a bad name...so many people asscocaited the
word communism with totalitarianism....so it makes cuba looks awful
