I mean, I would understand your point of view more if you could actually make a group of queers say "Well they don't want us married, time to hang up my faggot hat and live the straight life!"
But its just irrational fear of what? gay children? gay people kissing in the streets, making rap music, and holding office? I don't get it. Let em get married so they can visit each other in the hospital and benefit from life insurance and shit.

You know what might not have helped the NO crowd, though? There were actually people protesting yards away from Elementary schools. By all means, Protest, do your thing, get heard....but I'm sure that did not help the cause in this case. I'm not worried about kids learning about it in school, true or not...because they will find out about it one way or the other. BUT...if you're going after a political issue like this, it's probably not wise to protest near children or have children a part of the campaign (because chances are, they don't really understand the full scale of this stuff). Plus, in the crazy eyes of homophobes, this "proves" their point. (Which I don't believe, but they do).
