I think the way schools function begins with the administration.


I had some of the best teachers in high school, but everytime one of them spoke their mind or offended a few extremely conservative parents.....they some how "disappeared."

So many schools are becoming too concerned with money and less concerned with education.

I don't think schools are fucking up by disciplining. I think PARENTS are fucking up by not disciplining. The duty of the school is to teach the curriculum. The duty of a parent is to discipline their little bastard(s) and teach them a value of education. But of course that does not happen too often. Parents are afraid of their kids and want to pawn their job off on the school.

I am sorry, but your empty rhetoric will not work with me. Like it or not--and believe me, there are people that HATE it--i was born poor and raised on welfare, food stamps, clothing banks, Salvation army give-aways--the whole 9. But rather than bitching about the system and popping out kid after kid while moving from one low-paying job to another, my SINGLE PARENT took a stand--went to college, obtained an education, and now makes plenty of money...and not only am i poor, i am a minority.

Wow. So your single parent went to college? Wow! You're poor and a minority? Wow! Now tell me: what does this have to do with anything? I never mentioned minorities or college.

Rich people are right to "spoil" their kids as you call it. What is WRONG is for parents to advocate drug usage, allow them to drink and smoke at home, give them condoms and so on. Like it or not, schools aren't hurting because Johnny has a trust fund; they are hurting because Raul feels like he has no future--largely due in part to the REPEATED Liberal commentary and philosophy of "you'll never make it because ____ will always kick you down". The blank often changes; the subject pronoun is always the same.

Again what does this have to do with anything? All I brought to light was the fact that the coveted middle class isn't the only one having troubles with being "shithead parents."

Not everyone can go to college while still making enough money to feed their family. It may be a joke to you but it's a reality to many others.

Who said anything about fucking? That may be one factor to the population problem but I don't see how not fucking will help people get money or enter college. I've known rich people who've lost it all and have lived a life that was worse than mine. If the world was as black and white as you make it out to be then everyone would be rich and we would never have any monetary problems.
