YES SHEFFIELD SHOULD HAVE BEEN MVP. YES THERES A LOT OF OTHER GREAT HITTERS ON THE YANKEES BUT SHEFFIELD CARRIED THAT TEAM AND HAD SO MANY CLUTCH HOMERS AND GAME WINNING HOMERS ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY.

Sorry man...can't be an MVP on a team of MVPs...they would have reached the playoffs without Sheff...Look at how many games out the Angels were at the end of the season, and look at what Vlad did in the last ten games...he deserved it, and the voting showed it...wasn't even close.

Absolutely..not to mention he switched leagues/teams...and shined IN A MAJOR way his FIRST year...

I woulda also liked to see David Ortiz get it...MAN is he a monster...and clutch as fuck too....

1. Ortiz
2. Guerrero
3. Ramirez

Yes...the Yanks would have won the east w/o Sheff...because if he got injured, or they didn't get him from free agency, Steinbrenner would have put some other big name out there.

I hate the yanks, but I love Shef. Still though I think Vlad was the correct choice. Ortiz is a monster but they would have also been good without him.
