they sound a lot a like voice wise but after hearing BOTH thier catologz you can tell the difference! ya boy is deff the better out of the 2, and this is coming from a strong GAME fan......ALL THO everybody dont take music fanaticism ( being a fan) as deep as others so it can be upsetting, but the fact of the matter is........YA BOY= mixtape vet
GAME= platinum artist.............so there not even in the same class and if they workin together coo but ya boy has a LOOOONG way to go before you can be all mad like foolz aint givin him his do........

I think some of you are a little confused. I'm not comparing career catolouges. I'm not comparing YB's album work to Game's album work. YB aint had the same oppurtunities as Game. YB aint have Dr. Dre and 50 to mold him. Aside from Quinn and Done Deal, YB has been on his own. I'm talking about Bar for Bar, lyrical ability. YB is shitting on Game in that department. Not just Game, almost everybody else on the Westcoast (Not Crooked I). Ya Boy is a better rapper than Game, NOT a better artist. Just like Biggie was a better rapper than Pac, NOT a better artist.

Bruh Bruh Game first got put on in a major way when he went to Fillmoe. Ya Boy cousins are San Quinn and Messy Marv, YB said they inspired him to start rapping at age 17. If anything that's who he sounds like. I'm not arguing where Game made his first rap ever, I'm saying that JT put him on, and gave him a style to run with. Game came to Fillmoe, and left with a rapping style, the same style that Fillmoe rappers already had. Of course Game morphed the style and fit it to the way he wanted, but to say anybody from Fillmoe sounds like him is saying Jordan plays like Kobe. Jordan did it first.
games style now is a lot different than it was back in the day. you can see the difference in his recordings.

im a big game fan, but I definitely agree that in terms of lyrical ability yb > game.

I don't think they sound alike at all or rap anything like each other though. clyde carson sounds more like game than ya boy does and even he doesn't that much.

Ya Boy debut album is one of the greatest bay album I heard for years but when he left Done Deal to set up Precise he fell the fuck off... mixtapes like Chapter One: The Rise, The Fix, Im Bout To Murdah This Shit and most recently Bay Area Bully are between wacc and average

Ya Boy sounds like Game in the since of them both having raspy voices and they both talk about guns, money, cars, how dope they are, guns, what they do with guns, pussy, cookin raw, guns and really big guns.

Game does name drop in EVERY SINGLE SONG and I'm sure by now he is aware of it. But GAME has had 3 of the most solid albums in the industry (esp. in the West Coast) during he landing on the music scene. Ya Boy is a great Mix Tape rapper...only time will tell if he is a well rounded artist with the ability to make great albums with a VARIETY of topics and themes.

I agree with what u saying, but I also think that Ya Boy's content will change as he matures. He's only 23 years old!! He's only getting better, and his flow and content will grow as he grows. Game has been the same since we first heard him. Game does however have a great ear for beats, and has great features on all three albums. Bar for Bar, Game can't touch Ya Boy.
