xbox360 vs ps3

I'm trying to figure out which one I should get for my lil brothers bday. Which one is the best to go with?

well ps3 comes with blu ray, and it has free internet.. BUT the xbox 360 comes with a free trial of internet, and you dont have to wait like 15-30 minutes to install a game before you play it.

get the 299.99 bundle it comes with a 60 gig hard drive two games and just about everything u need in a 360. i think if you get it from wal mart they give you a $30 gift card

i would go for the ps3 only cuz i use it for everything i play blurays and use it almost like a HTPC... so i have like couple a gigs of music and like 20+ movies on the harddrive its hella cool... hope playtv come here when everything go digital...

if it's for your lil bro, i'd say the 360, since most of his friends probably have 360 as well. i have ps3 myself, but that was mostly for MSG4.

If your bro is a true gamer and likes competition go with a 360. If he wants overall the best games created on a console go with 360. If you want in on cash tournaments in sports/racing/shooters games go with 360. If you he likes RPG's go with 360.

If your bro aint really into gaming and is about his movies probably ps3 is more suited.

360, even though I'm literally on my 7th 360 since late 2005.

I love it. The games are butter, the only thing I like about the PS3 is the Blu-Ray.

Both 360 and PS3 are good. They both got sick games and features, I used to have a 360 myself but sold it and bought a PS3 since thats what most of my friends had and i wanted to be able to play online with them. Another thing i like about the PS3 is the fact that you don't have to pay to go online, plus by the time you've bought all the add ons for the 360 like wireless adapters and live subscription you eventually gonna end up spendin what you would have spent on the PS3 in the first place. And don't listen to all the stuff about 1 being more about media and the other more about games, they both got the same good games and they both got sick exclusives. Best 1 to go for would be the 1 most of his friends have.
