WWSD: Where to get a Zapco amp fixed?

my potna needs to fix his Zapco car amp somewhere in the bay. he said there's something caught in the fan or it might be blown. anyone know of any spots or got joog?

best spots arent in the bay, believe me. lol, just google it and theres some good ones out there for cheap. i had my amp fixed but i forgot the site, cost me 80 bucks.

If you wan't to keep it local and cheap I know some people on craigslist repair amps but I can't tell you if they are any good or not it might be worth a shot.

Shea would take it to Guru Electronics on Commercial in San Jose, right off Berryessa / 101 & tell Guru to fix it for a cheap ass price...

but then again, thats just what Shea would do.

I mean I mean.... I been going ther for many moons, but I dont really have 'tha plug' so to speak - dude is a money man, he's gonna get homie to try & buy a new one, but just let Guru (goo-doo) know he just wants it fixed.

to my knowledge Guru is only open 8 til 4 mon-fri

you can also try hitech car audio in el cerrito on san pablo ave off central. been going there for years. so you can go to sanjose or el cerrito for 2 good shops. hope that helps

check out tri-city tv in san carlos (near san mateo, redwood city, palo alto).. i know the owner he's one of our clients.. we send all our other clients who need repairs to him.. no ones said anything bad and he's been in business since like 1971.

i could probably fix it but i dont have time to do that shit anymore.. gotta trace the circuit and all that to see if theres a short somewhere and see if any caps or resistors blew.. might even be an inline fuse..
