Got one 10" Solobaric L7 with a 5 Channel Kicker Amp. Inside I have a touch screen Alpine DVD player with Alpine speakers and also an IPod connector.

No, it doesn't make your system louder. And there is no guarantee that it will keep your lights from dimming either.

Best thing to do is get a high amp alternator and get a new battery.

Sound good and hits hard, n doesnt take up that much space....1200 watts is good i think they handle like 1500 w.

1200 should be more than enough. The RMS is only 750w.
