yeah one time me n this broad i worked wit went to the wells fargo together to cash our paycheccs and for some reason the teller gave her like 200 extra....and i tol her to keep it and not say shit cuz thas what i would do...lol.....she bought me lunch and filled my tank that mornin...... but in the end they charged our boss and he made her pay it bacc....they make errors but they find em and they expect you to be honest......she was kinda mad at herself for listening to me lol....but oh well....you make your own decisions......

Be sure to tell them about it. Some banks don't have a set process in which to have some one return the money. So they might even let you keep it if the sum is negligable.

It turns out that they paid this fool 216 hours of Over-time, in error obviously...and this idiot was on a shopping spree this past weekend....buying clothes, bottles and stupid shit like that....everybody keeps telling him that he will have to pay it back but he doesn't give a fuck! It happened to me a couple months ago, the bank made a deposit of $1500 to my account, I spent it, and then a week or two later they took $1500 out of my account, plus insufficient funds fee's totaling $250

i think if the money is in your account for a certain amount of time it becomes yours, no matter who's error it was. i think there was a post like this before, where i read that.

lets say a bank error credits your account 1 Million dollars, im sure however long it takes to find the error, regardless of how long it takes, if they can prove its an error, it will be taken out

Yeah, about all you can do is pull all the money out, close the account and open another one somewhere else. They will charge it to you and it will show up as a charge off on your credit.
