I was looking up some shit about that RObert Rodriguez movie, Machete, and some crazy Rednecks were going off how it's going to incite racial riots and have mexicans acting up etc. but anyway this one dude posted this:

What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?

Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around.
I didn’t know of this until it was pointed out to me.

Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the
deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American
citizens that desperately needed work..

Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal’s after WWII to create jobs
for returning veterans.

And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million
Mexican Nationals! The program was called ‘Operation Wetback’.. It was
done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs.
It took 2 Years, but they deported them!

Now….if they could deport the illegal’s back then – they could sure do it today..

lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation
Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself. (I did it)

Reminder: Don’t forget to pay your taxes…
12 million Illegal Aliens are depending on you!

That shit is crazy! I never knew that, the fucking president oking some shit called operation wetback! And that shit is real, look it up.

The sources on operation wetback are iffy imo, 2 sources from a website called thehandbookoftexasonline.org and the other source from thechristiansciencemoniter.com, I'm gonna need more reliable sources than that. That .org site could easily be owned by biased/racist people, I know I know, they have so few in texas that the odds are slim, but call it a hunch.

PBS is kind of reliable and wikipedia sources:

García, Juan Ramon, Operation Wetback: The Mass Deportation of Mexican Undocumented Workers in 1954 (Westport, CT: Greenwood Publishing Group, 1980), ISBN 0313213534

I'm sure if I spent some time searching in my universities library I could come up with some more sources.
