anybody who knows 40, knows the brotha gets paper regardless. aint no way in hell that 40 would of took a step back. companies like 40's get swallowed up by bigger companies all the time. aint nobody held a gun to 40 on this one, he gonna get that major paper now, and i'm sure he gon grab all that publishin. then he gonna get his all his artist poppin. believe me, this is what 40 worked so hard for so long to have happen. hell, jay-z and dame dash just sold they shit to def jam... if they wasn't throwin crazy paper at 40, he would of thrown they ass out the V... holla, dj pimp
First of all, 40 OWNS all the respect in the world.. Let's get real. How can you hate on him for making a move like this? This shit is HUGE! Ok, so you say he should be doin his own thang, well you can look at it two ways.
1) Everyone (except the haters) knows this is good. Like kenny said it's a little secret called networking, extremely benefical. Get that paper. I don't really see 40 losing respect in anythign he does, he's distinguised. He has more street credit than ANYONE in the bay. He can basicaly do what the fuck he wants, he's been around so long we knows its gonna be tight.
2) For the haters: If you say you don't like his new shit, think of this as a way to change up the style again. I don't think all LIL JON AND RICK ROCK BEATS is a bad thing! You trippin.
