If an artist offered their entire album for free download in Mp3 format, and you liked what you heard, would you consider buying a CD version of the album? In a sense, the artist would be leaking their own album in hopes that people would like their music and purchase the CD for a resonable price ($7.99 total) Do you think that this is giving too much away or do you think that it would have a positive effect because the people get to hear the entire album before they consider buying it? I just wanted to see what your thoughts were on this.
Would you still buy the CD if the MP3 was free?
