Production: The beats is on some upbeat hype type shit, gets ya head bobbin within the first 20 seconds, solid beat front to back

1st Verse: (gem?) Dude spits raw, voice reminds me of a young Dutch, wordplay and delivery is on point, dude rides the beat like a bike..dudes definitely got some way to go but he;s on the right path, possesses the neccessary confidence and has potential.

2nd Verse: M Brando has impressed me with the 2 tracks I've heard from him, this dude has IT. I think this cars shines the hardest on the song, my only complaint is why was his verse so short? Dude has a raw voice and delivery..definitely someone to look out for in the future.

review pt2

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3rd Verse...

3rd verse is ok...real short so I have to play it back several times to really get a feel for what dudes saying...right after M Dots verse the "born ready" chorus comes in followed by a cats starting his lines with "before the pro tools" I cant tell if this is just another part of Brando's verse just cut in...if so Brando came kinda boring on the 2nd part..it could of been left out.

The last full verse is spit by Reegz Im guessin? The first couple bars werent the best...but as the beat plays out he picks up the pace...adding in a few good punchlines to the verse, confidence is displayed throughout the verse and, nice addiction of sound effects and vocal effects...He's got the flow and should continue rapping...the "i musta ate something spicy cause my shits hot" isnt the best wordplay ive heard..but ive heard much..much worse
overall the song is upbeat and catchy especially with the "born ready" hook, the first half somewhat outshining the 2nd...but by no means was it a weak song. All artists displayed the neccessary talent to be considered talented musicians, with more work and dedication I could see nothing but good things in the future..

Good luck to you all is a heavily flooded game and market.

nigga this shit...nigga this shit right here....

*ad kapones voice*
You aint heard this shit?...Coop D Ville?...Siccness.net?...San Diego and the Bay?..hold up, let me put this shit in real quick, this shit bump...these my niggaz man...betta feel me

CoopDVill and Siccness.net Presents
Community Service..Vol 2

Track 1

Mac Dre & Skiem Hiem-
GOOD GAME

Mac Dre starts off this track with a tough verse...not sure if its an original but its a typical MD verse, solid as always. Skiem Hiem? never heard of Skiem Hiem...but the cats has spits, song is only 1:53, shortest song on the album..but Im suprised I havent heard this dude's name before..blends well with MD,production is decent, fits MD and Skiems rap tempo nicely.Nice track, albeit short.

"Is that You"
I always liked this beat...its on some laidback slump type shit, the ambience it sets is on some WOW shit. The song introduces "RO Reepa" and "Doja" both cats spits real clean, yet still gritty street shit..this track is simply slumpin, the two features compliment Jacka well...I hope to hear more from these two. This album is slowly building up nicely..if the 1st track doesnt pull you in with Furlys voice..the 2nd one will for sure with Jacka intro verse.

"Take a Flick"
to sum it up..play this track when you feelin yaself, the beat is orchestrated perfectly for a sunny day on the freeway, first verse is Black mikey, an unknown to me but the cat is strictly street, dude got it. Mitchy Slick comes in next, and somewhat gets outshines by Black mikey. While Mitchy is well known, I feel this verse was somewhat on the simplistic side, still tight, but nothing special. I havent heard too much of Slicks music, but his verse on here displays his talent and he has a distinct voice that is memorable

"keep Twistin"....Aww shit, here come Devin, I have never heard a weak Devin song, and he maintains this status with this...fuck this track makes me wish I had some weed and not this $2 wine. had to play back devins verse again real quick...that shit was tough. 12 Gauge Shottie and Devin make good music together, the tones of these two voices over this bangin ass beat is a good song to zone out two with some headphones..12 has impressed me ever since the album with jacka..BANGER!

"Juiced Up"
Beta bossalini...and FAB, beta has that laid back pimpin stylist smooth flow..production is on some surround sound slaptastic shit, u cant really go wrong with Beta...the chorus is a little annoying though. FAB comes in with an impressive verse, although the line " first nigga to put candy paint on a bucket"..cant be true lol. Macnificents verse kinda winds down the song from its JUICED UP beginning...only complaint is the chorus...might be a nice track for the promo of the "Juiced up" energy drink.

"Nif nasty and Smac100"
Not really feeling this track, just doesnt do anything for me...both cats are spittin, but this one might have to grow on me some...movin on. I didnt see a title on this one, I hope it aint the title track..man

"Big Up"..Shake the mayor...
beats remind me of some Jeezy type shit, Im new to Shakes music but its got my head bobbin, dudes spittin some heat, the instrumental backing him up supports his style nicely, this song is a good introduction to this cat. Straight street shit, I'll be on the lookout for this artist.

"We be functioning"
Bossman hogg and Marty McPhly?...Ive heard of hogg but not the additional feature...skipping this track, maybe im just not under the influence of the right substance...this one will take some time I guess...not feeling it really. Beat is just BLAH...kinda like Top ramen without the flavor packet. no disrespect intended, just not feelin it.

"Model Top"
Diego redd, Cakemix and P Coat Jackson
This is sort of a cool club track...dude singing on it can blow ( no autotune either, a big plus ) takes a minute to get heads bobbin but a solid track to ride too..P coats verse on the end is bland, no substance..nothing special and could have been left off..its on some upbeat drunk shit.

"Life in the Sky"
Willie Joe Jesse L and balance..
From the first 10 seconds on... this song is a slumper...definitely a hit. Verse and production seem to be seamless, the smooth nature of this track makes it a standout indeed. Playin this one more time...

holdup....that last track might have to wait, this one has Stevie joe and 40..whats it called? "Ghetto Meatloaf"? nice title...these joe boys are something to be on the lookout for, Ive heard the name and i see why now..GOD DAMN 40 ripped this shit..the styles seem similar and not forced, very natural. Damn..last two tracks Ive heard are back to back blappers.

Overall I can tell you this album is worth the $12 or whatever its going for, Im halfway through the album and i'd be happy with the purchase, replay value is mid to high and there are very few songs that would be skipped. No overly blatant filler tracks...Im playing the rest of this album and feeling it.beyond the lengths of my review the album only gets better. If your looking for a good CD, Cop this one, it gave me a nice introduction to some artists I havent heard before and lets the well knowns shine nicely. The production is mixed well, I can see this album hittin ever harder in some Dr. Dre headphones. Im ending this review because I am satisfied to say the album is a solid purchase for any Bay Area rap fans, especially San Diego rap fans. With features including Killa Tay,J Stalin, E40, Willie and Stevie Joe, EPA's OG's's Mac n AK, and Shake the mayor, this album is a surefire hitter.
I have no doubt my review would be even higher...if I was higher. Can a nigga get a sack for writing all this shit?
LOL...Coop D Vill and Siccness.net put together one helluva lineup, chose his tracks carefully...the production is simply amazing.
Nice work, this album has been a pleasure to listen to and review...some are harder than others...this was easier than a drunk fat bitch at 1:45am. Ya'll cop this shit and support the Siccness...its reppin the site right...Quit bullshittin and cop it

1. I go
This song is pretty lackluster and is "another hyphy song"..same subject matter as them all, big rims, going dumb...etc. Beat is overly simplisitc and doesnt really inspire me to"go dumb", This song seems like it took about 10 minutes to write, I've heard these lyrics from so many other rappers, just in a different order. If the entire album is similar to this song..its not going to impress me at all.
BORING.

2. 5 fEET
1ST 5 bars of this song and i already not feelin it...wow, did this album come out 5 years ago? Its a song about haters needing to give these guys space...Im sure by the end of this review I'll be called a hater...but I strongly dislike this song, 1st verse was just weak overall...all i hear is "haters suckas snitches, blah blah blah, im a boss, blah blah blah....'
2 songs deep into this album and it would have gotten ejected from the deck and turned into a frisbee on 101.

3.Stuntin
real original title guys..cmon. a song about stuning...unoriginal, uninspiring and boring.

4Lifestyle's
Im starting to feel like im listening to a group that bought the "How to become a rapper in 30 days or less" kit at walgreens. The ability to make words rhyme is not rapping, its rhyming. These guys can rhyme...but all i hear is, smack track crack slap mack blap year hear fear dear...They speak on flooding the block and making a million this year..? Only thing that is being flooded is the rap game...with middle school raps like this...this album isnt getting any better, but since I dont like it..Im just a hater right?

5.God who makes these beats...did he just get a Casio from radio shack and a 4 track? I have no idea what this dudes rappin about, i guess "being on the block for so long? " A wise man once said." there aint no hope, you cant cope...some of you niggas need to stay on yo set and try and slang dope"

6.In Here
Thank god im home alone, Id really be embarrased to play this in public, i honestly could have wrote this entire album in about 12 hours or less, These lyrics might have worked in 92, and the hyphy aspect of it is outdated. Get off the bandwagon guys...

7. Back Seat
i almost like this beat...almost, wait..nope,its wack another fast paced 2005 beat with some guys rhyming over it...i guess this song is about breakin bitches? Im about to break my fuckin computer speakers after I toss them against the concrete outside.

8.Choppa Bloppas?
what in the fuck is a choppas bloppas..? let me sum this song up "im a boss, smoke choppas, fuck coppers, bblah blah blah..."
poor attempt at starting a new phrase, Im about to blop this entire album...if blopp means delete.

9.Obligated.
"AUTO TUNE used on the hook...also used the term "over Hurr" glock block sock dock mock jock scratch catch batch snatch street beat bitch ditch itch...Im obligated to skip this track

10. Posted on the block

This is the last song im playing, if you guys cant impress me in 10 tracks then there is no point of listening to this entire album, im sorry but i havent heard a single song on here that even remotely got my head bobbin...
JESUS...these are actual lyrics from the album "im posted on the block, pass me the rock, pushin on your spot, puttin money in my sock"
man plan stan dan ran can hand ...I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE, I give up...andf i feel you should too. If I paid for this CD I'd be pissed.

OVERALL:
I dont know how old these guys are, but id say they are about 15-20, Sadly i hear no creative wordplay, no original content, no punchlines, no catch phrases, nothing memorable at all in any of the 11 songs i listened too. This album will never be played again, and I am deleting it as we speak. I strongly feel that rap is not for everyone and perhaps you should consider another form of art to express your feelings or experiences in life. There is little originality in any of your lyrics, try expanding your vocabulary, trying different rap patterns, buy a thesaurus, a book of idioms, hell, even try studying the proverbs from the old testament.. Creativity is key when creating music, and being a stand out act keeps you from being another grain of sand at the beach. If this album was released anytim in the last 2 years, it was WAAAY too late, even during the hyphy movement in full swing, the lack of lyricism still would have caused you to fail in the music industry. With the ever growing availability of music based multimedia technology (fruityloops, protools, m-audio,homestudios etc) everyone thinks they can make music and should drop an album. I would take your entire business plan and marketing angle back to the drawing board and start from scratch. I wish you luck though in your other endeavors and in life itself.
I do not feel as though you are suited for the bay area rap industry. San jose already has enough rappers, and they are striving and strugglin to keep San Jo's rap scene alive. With guys like you droppin albums like this, it take up shelf space that should go to established artists such as Reese Loc, Convi,c Playa Rae....etc

Thank you for sending me the album, i hope the criticism will assist you in some way. im not hatin..I just dont feel your album and have reviewed it, as requested.
