People keep knockin residents for not leaving. Ummmm, werent the highways jamm packed and people couldnt leave?
On subject though. I wouldnt go back. You can't how would you like to go back to a house that is covered with mold spores, walls that were soaked in water filled with feces and garbage. Not everyone wil be able to afford rebuilding from the ground up. The city is USELESS. There are not enough people that will return and be able to hold jobs. It's not just the city of new orleans that is fucked. It is the economy.

if i needed money, i would buy a trailer home right now and move over there right now, i mean they are gonna need people to help rebuild and you could live there and save up, make hella bank, imagine if you are in real estate you could buy homes for cheap because people dont wanna live there but once everything is rebuilt people will pay way more than what you did. new orleans could be a gold mine if you milked it right
