i didnt say they was garbage, just not the quality i expected... if u tellin me that world premiere was better than then negro league, then you funny... after the post i re-listened to bully's wit fully's and it didnt blow me away, that makes it disapointing... and if you just loved blow the whistle and thought it was an instant classic, than buddy, you need some "quality control"... i think a lot of you dudes dont even know what a real great album sounds like... you just assume that an album where at least half of the tracks "slap" then its tight... back in the day artists' used to put their hearts and souls into their albums because a REAL album is more then just beats and a catchy hook.... an album used to be (and still is to some artists) a part of the artist and a demonstration that the person is not just a singer or rapper, but a REAL ARTIST... a show case that music is an art.... and every great album has it's own uniqueness to it (hence the artist's heart and soul into album shit)... dig into your daddy's old records, sit, and listen because you'll prolly listen to a few REAL great albums... shit put in that old school chronic then put in that band-aid n' scoot, and tell me is they in the same league...
Are you trying to say that those albums even come close to The Chronic or All Eyez On Me? Because if you are you have some serious hearing issues. Those were classic albums...period. Not classic West Coast Albums. Not classic Hip-Hop albums, but classic albums. Come on you can't be serious putting them in the same boat.

the thread starter is trippin half the cds he mentioned were pretty good, i agrees on theat dru down and lee majors though, that cd was hella weak to me aside from a couple of songs, Dru Down ruins hella songs with his new style of rapping imo and that shit was mixed hella fucked up if I want that much low end I'll adjust that shit on my stereo myself. The cut with the jacka on it was dope though. I like Lee Majors though, I just get sick of Dru Down and his lame ass adlibs after awhile.

as far as the topic at hand, I've bought alot of crappy CDs in my day when i was younger in hope to find a diamond. Cant really think of alot off the top of my head but i thought Pimp P Mack The Total Package was a pretty sorry tape back in the day. It had some tight beats though, dudes style killed it though in a bad way for me. Da Unda Dogg had some tight production on there though

Mac Malls illegal business 2000 was disapointing... I remember getten hyped up to a khayree mall collab and was so far off from his first classic... To me that was the exact point mall fell off... He almost game back again after immaculate, but as we see now days buying a mall cd is a waist
