probably better off flying--think what would happen if something big were on those tracks or if the tracks got fucked up somehow

Nah, they probably test/watch for tracks and other things every once in a while.

& what if the pilot got sick somehow and crashed the plane? What about the terrorists?

i doubt the entire length of the tracks are monitored at all times for damage and/or obstructions...although they were probably checked out thoroughly for that test

and your other concerns could apply just as well to such a train system, if not moreso...all a terrorist would have to do would be to drive a car (possibly packed w/ explosives) onto the tracks shortly before the train is due to pass by--it would be impossible to avoid

it's cool shit but, imo, too risky for a train system to be used like that on an everyday basis.....unless the entire length of the tracks were heavily secured (i.e. walled-off)

Hmmm

Ya, well I mean there can be bad situations involved whether it's plane or whatever, in any [i forgot the term]. But if there is enough knowledge/information holds to use in case of any situation, then there would be prolly less % of bad situations.

But, I have read that the train can be attached to magnets instead of using tracks and could be as well used in the future soon. As for cars, the magnets being under the road, too, instead of using any fuel.

true...just saying significant changes would need to be made before an ultra-high-speed train system like that could be considered safer than air travel
