its jus human nature to wish your dead loved one is in a better place regardless of who they were how they lived or how they passed o
Very True homeboy, it's hard to imagine my homies that have been killed for the "vida" to be in heaven after all their dirt. It's hard to even have notions of him in hell.
.cuz if you wanted to get technical by Christian belief no one whos dead is in Heaven yet
Yup, there's two of them The righteous dead and lost dead. This is a commonly known as a doctrine exclusive to Seventh Day Adventists, and although I'm non-denominational, I agree to some extent. I think there are some people in heaven right now because Y'shua or Jesus took those that were in Abraham's Bosom into heaven with him. We all remain here asleep, although the bible isn't clear whether it is spirit or just flesh. I think it's spirit, cause peep this out. If a body is to be cremated, how can the flesh or deceased body remain asleep? It's the Soul, and someone on here kept arguing that I was wrong yet didn't address my questions after I had answered his.
according to Revelations there has to be a rapture when the Savior returns and everyone is judged dead or alive before they are sent to hell or allowed in heaven
There's the first Rapture, I don't care if it's a post, mid, or Pre tribulation rapture, that's upto God and I have faith in him regardless. Then there's the second rapture of the righteous dead, those who remain asleep waiting for Y'Shua to return.
and i dont beleive in this stuff im jus quoting whats in the Bible.....i dont know why so many people contradict this but thas religion for ya
Contradict what?

I'm not trying to argue, just asking what you meant by your last quote. The other quotes and responses from me are just to clear things up.

^^^The Dinosaures still existed around the time of Adam and Eve. What I think happend is that as man grew and grew the animals of the old world died off, like the Dido, but a much larger fashion. I do believe the world is young. Man would be far more advanced if this world was as old as they claim it to be.

How should we be more advanced ? ? ? See i write with you guys livin like 6500 miles away. That´s pretty advanced if you ask me. "WE" can manipulate Gens , "we" can also create & manipulate stuff in nano size. I think that`s not to bad for the last 250 years as we startet really "makin` moves" ;)

^^^^If we did this in 250 years how come we didnt do this before that? What Iam saying is people should be far more advanced and such if the earth was billions of years old. This would give people more time to do more.

A side comment- Dont you love it in old Sci-Fi flicks like Thx-1138 how they say times like 2003 and your like haha that has passed and none of that shit exists. Just something that strikes me as funny is all.

For a great perspective on the after life, no matter what religious background you are, read the short book "The 5 People You Meet In Heaven". If you've had a lot of close friends and family die as I have, it lends a very positive and uplifting grasp on the worst thing anyone will ever experience.

YEA ITS TRUE COMMITING SUICIDE IS A SIN, BUT THIS AINT THE ONLY CHANCE TO GO TO HEAVEN. I DONT READ THE BIBLE THAT MUCH BUT THE RAPTURE IS LIKE 7 OR 8 YEARS LONG, ITS SUPPOSE TO BE HELL ON EARTH. U EITHER CHOOSE TO HAVE THE MARK OF THE BEAST OR ACCEPT GOD AS UR LORD AND SAVIOR AND HAVE ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN.

After the rapture, there is a 1000 year period where we reign with Christ on Heaven, then after that Satan is released to tempt the remaining people on earth, then it's the white throne judgment.

Suicide seems like a very selfish thing to do. As bad as you have it in life, there are probably a million other people throughout this world who have it ten times worse than you do, and they are not killing themselves. When committing suicide, you are just thinking of yourself and not all of the people (family members and friends) who are going to be hurt by your choice. It sucks that they are going through some very tough times, but I'm sorry, I just can't feel sorry or sympathetic for someone that commits suicide.

that's so fucking true...

i lost several friends through out the years cuz they committed suicide.....i felt disrespected in so many ways for what they did....we all have our ups and downs...but suicide is not the way to solve them...

i can give my condolences and what not..but i don't feel sorry for them one bit..i just keep it moving like nothing happen..

and as for the ones i knew that did commit suicide.. I didn't even attend their funerals...because suicide is a disrespectful and sorry way to go out in this world..

Adolf you ain`t got no clue ....
You just don`t know what it feels like when your heart is really really broken...
When it feels like you`re runnin` out of gas....
See from a normal point of view you`re right but walk in the shoes of a person that commited suicide and you would feel different...

Maybe I do and maybe I don't. So what you are saying is that when things start going bad, they can never get any better? The best thing to do is just give up and kill yourself? As I said, I can walk in the shoes of a person that committed suicide and see how shitty life truly is. But I can also find millions of other people whose life is ten times worse and they are not killing themselves.

Unfortunately, I've sat through two funerals of friends whose fathers committed suicide. The whole time I could not even look at the casket or the pastor. The whole time I was looking at their family, especially THEIR KIDS, who they chose to abandon for their own selfish ways. I watched them cry the whole time and also felt sorrow for them because of the pain they were going through.
