EILAT, Israel -- An English millionaire married the love of her life last week -- a 35-year-old dolphin.

Even with no ring to offer, Sharon Tendler, 41, thought Cindy the dolphin was a good catch.

As Cindy squeaked his vows at an Israeli resort, Tendler, a rock concert promoter from London, fed him some mackerel in return.

After giving her groom a big kiss, Tendler was thrown into the water to swim with her slippery spouse.

Tendler said the wedding was one of the happiest moments of her life. She said she was looking forward to time alone with her beau.

She said she fell in love with Cindy 15 years ago, when the dolphin came to her while she was visiting the dolphin reef.

When asked in the past if she had a boyfriend, she would always reply, "No. I'm going to end up with Cindy." On Wednesday, she made it official, sort of. While she acknowledged the "wedding" had no legal bearing she did say it reflected her deep feelings toward the bottlenosed, 35-year-old object of her affection.

"It's not a bad thing. It just something that we did because I love him, but not in the way that you love a man. It's just a pure love that I have for this animal," she said.


Seems more like a joke or a publicity stunt then anything else.
