Ya sp3 is pretty gay. They tried to incorporate alot of the vista security features in SP3. Also SP3 causes alot of networking issues. Also updates tend to fail after you install SP3

After I fixed the networking issue and update issue, everything was good.

No, but it prevents some other updates from going into your PC if it is the first thing you update. I tried to update my Office, and NOTHING would install. Took off SP3, everything went in just fine.

No to mention, it doesnt work with AMD CPU's...thats just dumb.

far as updatin ur pc just downoad http://www.autopatcher.com/apengine/apup.zip

extract the file and run the program.....it works on bootleg xp copies ...no fuckin bullshit wga validation check or anything....once updates are downloaded just click the folder on ur desktop and go from there

i forgot to mention extract the autopatcher program files to desktop....otherwise the update folder are hard as hell to find on the pc
