Pujols on pace to only strike out 50 times, when McGwier did it he struck out over 150.

Also teams havent intentionally walked him, they have however walked Bonds 14 times this year.

It's iffy. Bonds too was on pace to hit like 80 something homeruns but didnt. Bonds also set the record for most walks in a season. Pujols is getting pitched to which is good for him. It would be great for the game if he did, but I don't think he will. Alot of Barry haters are looking for something to blow him out of the spotlight. It's a shame

The guy's a class act , I'd like to see him break it.
What he said.

I think he has the ability to but they will start walking him too much at some point. I'm guessing mid 60's is where he will be when the season is over. I hope he proves me wrong though Pujols is the shit.

How comfortable would white America be with a latino holding the single season HR record?? They might consider that a lot worse than this "big steroid using nigger" Bonds. I think they'll start walking his ass like crazy.
some1 always has to bring race into the discussion.

first let me say i DONT think he will pass it although i will be hoping he does. Bonds doesNOT deserve the record (Steroids).

as long as Pujols is clean and isnt using some sort of designer roid that is undetectable he is young and still not in his prime and should if he continues at his current pace bring the game to a level not seen since the 1994 strike.

I don't know man...just my opinion. & I'm hispanic so don't throw that racist shit towards me...lets discuss the topic right.

but who cares ? this shit is apart of sports not just baseball. i just find it silly for baseball players to take AAS

He's hit quite a few three run bombs lately, meaning there were already two men on, so they weren't going to load the bases for Rolen.......

This thread is null and void now it looks like. He's going to be out for a substantial amount of time due to an injury he sustained today. I don't know how the fuck he got injured he was just running and pulled a muscle in his side......FUCK.....
