Tony Homo still has Witten and Willams to throw to, but that doesn't mean that he's going to do well in the late season. He sucks in December.

I'd take Shaun Hill over Romo. Romo has played with better weapons and I'd still take Shaun Hill.

@The Evil Genious: Check Shaun Hill's record as starting qb for the 49ers!

a career backup over a pro bowler? nice knowledge.
Like I said, Romo has played with better weapons. Whitten is better than Davis and T.O. was better than any wide receiver on the Niner roster. I don't care if he's a career back-up, he's a good qb and deserves to start.

Well we'll see if Romo can take the Cowboys to the playoffs without T.O. Garcia's and McNabb's numbers dropped when they departed from T.O.

I actually agree, Romo has had a hell of an offense to play with, a huge OL, a bruising RB, a qbs best friend in a TE, and 1 of the best WRs with some quality WRs to throw to, Shaun Hill however hasnt had much except gore to dump off to, and to put more people in the box. Put Shaun Hill with that offense the cowgirls had, and he would have won more games, Shaun Hill may not have the Arm that Homo has, but he has the game time skills to win

Yeah Shaun Hill got heart and I like the way he plays... he plays with fire and intesnity (sp). Y'all Niners fans better hope Hill gets the starting job. If Smith starts (which is what the GM wants) your team could start off on the wrong foot (you want your team to head into the season with stability at the qb position and no controversies). And actually I don't see a problem with his (Hill's) arm strength or lack there of. I think he throws the ball just fine.
