Instead of Saddam killing citizens, its the rival factions and war taht resulted from the operation that is killing the innocent...shit is just waayy to fucked up over there...
It is fucked up. But now that Hussein doesn't have a firm grip on the citizens, they can get together and fix things or they can keep doing what they're doing. Bottom line is, it is now up to the Iraqi people. What they do with it is up to them.

Violence in Iraq will NEVER cease unless a similar Saddam Hussein government is enacted. The differences between the different ethnic groups will always cause conflict in Iraq. They should just split Iraq into a couple of different countries like they did Yugoslavia.
The way I see it, tension and fighting will remain on that land. Just like in Israel with the palestinians. All over their claim to the holy land.

Hussein was a dick but he held the people in check, no stupid sunni shiite killing groups of people shit. Shoulda stayed out that country.
He also used to bounce people on the concrete from a rooftop, and his sons were even worse.

Yugoslavia was different.

Tito held the country together till after his death and thats when the shit hit the fan. Croats v Serbs, Serbs v Muslims, Communists v Chetniks, hatred that stemmed centuries was held together by one man.

Yeah Saddam and his regime did a lot of shit, but I don't see why villify him when most of the people who do will turn around and overlook heinous bullshit western countries do/did to justify how the countries are "upheld" now.

People like you said the EXACT same shit about Iraq 5 years ago, now Iraq is in the best shape it has ever been in.

iraq is in terrible shape, its worst there now than it was in sadam's era, but for diffrent reasons, because i'm not supporting sadam, he killed a lot of his own people too, he was a western puppet dictator in the beginning, so i'm not giving him props or supporting

but i will put shit into perspective, its the us reagan administration through donald rumsfeld that gave sadam the chemical weapons to gas his own people

sadam was a trained cia hitman before he became president

even though sadam kept a iron grip on power and dissent and anything that was a threat to his power, he still made sure there was no sectarian beef's poppin off, you see what i'm saying, he kept the state secular, he kept religion out of politics, everybody in iraq on that level, got on, inter married between shia and sunni and so on and so on, lived in the same neighbourhoods and whatnot, you get what i'm sayin

schools were free, iraq was developed to the point were heads in the middle east knew iraq to be a place you could go to better your position in life, a place of learning, dictator issues aside of course

un sanctions and the first iraq war before the second iraq war brought crazy levels of medical issues due to du(depleted uranium from millitary weapons) and other problems because of the sanctions

after the second invasion, there was a alledged system assassination program of most of what they call the intellectual class, professor's, scientist and so on and so on

the us used chemical weapons in falluja in iraq in the second invasion by using white phosorous as weapons in civillian areas for revenge for falluja switching on the system's occupation

its the us goverment under bush that brought that sectarian bullshit to iraq, through the badr brigades which was the millitia wing of the Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq, that was based in the interior ministry that started all the sectarian beef's, the neo cons mapped out in a imperialist US document called the 'the clean break' in 1996 that said they wanted to divide iraq into three parts along sectarian lines, the usual divide and rule to control the resources, the same old system tactics, you get what i'm saying, research that shit

when it seemed like diffrent sects were reuniting, shia & sunni together in general, thats when you started to get a lot of alleged system false flag operations and the local resistance which the system called insurgents in there own country against an illegal invasion started imploding on each other and the media & system started calling them al queda in iraq

over a million brothers and sisters have been killed over there since the occupation

sadam was a dictator but it is his own people that should have kicked him out, not evil imperialists only after iraq's oil and raping and plundering the fake, fraud building contracts thats gone on over there, they haven't rebuilded that country at all, iraq is not in a great shape, the goverment there are US puppets who only care about themselves and thats it, its not great at all, no it ain't

I know for a fact that Iraq is in good shape, my cousin said there was so little violence where he was they shipped him to afghanistan, and I've seen countless videos and read countless soldier journals. The taliban is non existent there, the Iraqi police/ military is doing a great job, and there is a democracy in order. People there are very grateful, the non jihad people

First off, you dont know jack shit. This is the only "fact" about you.

Second of all, you talked to ONE person and that solidifies everything?

Third, "People"...as in every single Iraqi? So, you talked to every single person that lives there and came to this conclusion?

Why arent you banned yet?
