Behind bars and still in shock, Cynthia Sommer spoke about the moment a jury found her guilty of killing her marine husband- by poising him with arsenic.
"I thought I was dreaming," she said, adding, "I thought I missed the "not" part of the verdict."
In her first interview since being convicted of first degree murder, the mother of four tearfully insisted that she didn't kill her husband, Marine Sergeant Todd Sommer.
"If I could bring him back I would. He was a great husband and father," she said.
Sommer also defended the wild behavior she displayed right after her husband's death, like hosting raucous parties in her home and having sex with several men.
She also spoke about spending more than $5,000 on breast implants just two months after Todd's death.
"I looked for any immediate fix," she said. "If that meant shopping, that's what I tried to do. Apparently I got convicted of first degree murder for that."
