Why isnt there an Underground hip hop thread?

8five8's list looked like what I bumped in 97 & 98...I hella stopped listening to underground hip hop just because of company flow...I mean, them not really making sense over weird beats was coo cuz it was different...but then more and more rappers started doing that shit and it seemed the less sense you made the better you're considered...people like aesop rock and atmosphere and all these other space rappers are just annoying....they're just as bad as the nellys and d4l's...after I try listening to the newer shit now i'm hella unimpressed

i dont really listen to that much new shit unless its really really tight. I'm really picky now.

whats really in my cd changer are just Mitchy Slick shit, and Madlib or Oh No's shit. Im still waitin for Infamous MC and Kali Wild to drop an album. Sometimes i'll throw in that old Defari cd. I still listen to the 1st Whoridaz album. That shit was hard.

maybe if they dumb there rhymes like alot of other fools than it would be tighter. Maybe if they start rappin about ice and rims people will start to listen. i'd rather listen to def jux then all that shit they play in the radio. atleast its different.
