hahaha, yeah that's what I thought.
i consider underground hip hop and underground gangsta rap a whole different thing. Gangsta rappers and Hip Hop MC's shouldnt be in the same category.

Let me see your list. I am missing a few MC's but i havent really been keepin up. Its really hard to trust alot of new rappers these days. I like the old shit better. I havent really been hearing about any tight ughh mc's lately. fill me in. let me know who's hot.

Thats cool. How do u find out about these mc's. Is there a website where i can listen to snippets? I dont wanna spend money on cd's anymore unless its really tight. I mean like atleast like 10 good songs on the album. I lost a lot of trust in all my favorite rappers. They get all this hype of they're release dates and all that shit then album sucks. All i listen to now is classics. I like mc's that could spit, but i like beats too. So i need both.

How's in the Ill Bill and Necro albums. Are they any good?

ughh.com has alot of snippets

if you have interest in a certain artist let me know,i will be able to reccomend albums or point you in the right direction

ill bill and necro arent for everyone, thinks its definitly something you will either be feelings immediatly or not going to be able to get into the hardcore nature of their lyrics and production. ill bill solo "whats wrong with bill?" would be the best place to start. if you can handle that than i will suggest some necro. not sure if you are ready to go straight to some necro based on your list, haha

see but thats the thing way too many people consider bad music, good music.but each his own...each his own

The reason why i think that 90%of comercial directed music is complete garbage is because the artists and ceo's arent concerened with making quality music, there concerned with making money, period.
wow someone that feels the same way i do only thing thats different with me is id say 100% of commercial directed music is garbage

8five8's list looked like what I bumped in 97 & 98...I hella stopped listening to underground hip hop just because of company flow...I mean, them not really making sense over weird beats was coo cuz it was different...but then more and more rappers started doing that shit and it seemed the less sense you made the better you're considered...people like aesop rock and atmosphere and all these other space rappers are just annoying....they're just as bad as the nellys and d4l's...after I try listening to the newer shit now i'm hella unimpressed

aesop rock isnt the enemy my friend...the enemy is the source of that horrible sounds they rap over. that sound that is the product of only one man. a man that has single handely ruined countless of my favorite rappers with his horendous production...with that said i can only say this

FUCK EL-P!!! ALL MY FELLOW UGHH LISTENERS RISE UP AND REVOLT AGAINST THIS CANCER OF OUR MUSIC!!!! EL-P IS THE DEVIL!!

lol at "EL-P IS THE DEVIL"

come on....he isn't that bad (productionwise), just getting a little inconsistant nowadays.

i agree with the whole lacing my favorite rappers with his wack beats thing...but he seems to do what all rapper/producers do...save the heat for themselves.
