commercials and videos is a part of promotion and it don't cost 200 stacks to make a video unless he bouta to go to somebody big like chris robinson or hype williams which don't make sense since he's a indie artist not expecting to sale that many albums

200 Thou' is way too much to spend as an independent artist...And I highly doubt airing a few random commercial on BET will garner him any new fans...I'd put that in my pocket and hope the album does something on digital sales....What was the official "first" single for this album by the way????

I've been seeing the commercial on BET regularly and thats pretty damn good for promotion if you ask me, considering him not being on a major. This project has grabbed my attention more than any other, so shit ... somebody is doing something right.

I haven't been listening to the radio lately... but has KMEL been talking about this release and 40's release?? Quinn's already gonna get sales from his true fans...but his release at least gotta be mentioned on the radio to get the casual fans who already somewhat known quinn to go out and buy it.

Who says it aint being promoted right? Quinn said that he is spending $200,000 on TV time. That's music videos, Commercials, the works....Don't be so quick to criticize the shit just dropped today!!
A lot of artist and labels promote real hard before the album drops, not saying they aint promotin I just feel the rock was promoted a little bit harder than this one, and this album is tight as fuck .

i dont see how quinn or anyone else gonna move major sales without the support of local radio. he should look into movin to atlanta like too short or l.a. like clyde carson. or there needs to be another hip hop radio station that doesnt just play top 40 east coat / down south music.

Since San Quinn been in the game for many moons, I don't think he has to promote it that tough since he already has a fan base.

At the end of the day, he's living off this rap shit.

And you wonder why bay albums don't do as well as they should. I live in LA and quinn has no presence out here. Shit no Bay artist does(besides the usual 40, too short, fab)...not even jacka. I used to always wonder why the Bay stayed so regional and now I know why. It doesn't make sense that no Bay artist has any push or presence in So cal when its only an hour flight away. The Bay doesn't really market or do shows outside of the bay in cali and I dnt understand it for the life of me. If u don't hop in that bucket and get down here and get it crackin! I'm heavy on the club scene in hollywood and LA and i've yet to hear or see any bay artist perform this year unless its 40, too short, and maybe fab. We really losing when it comes to makin a name and buildin a fan base in LA. How do u expect to win when u cant even get your whole backyard behind you?

And before u go callin me a hater understand that I love Bay music and want it to be as successful as everywhere else. I just feel like we've lost some of our hustle.

i been trying to think... why is the south on the top?

i mean, people say talent.....

who does the south have? soulja boy, D4L, gucci manne etc..(and some which even have ghostwriters)

then they say, make songs that are radio hits

what? i thought you needed to pay to get your song played on the radio!!, isn't that what artists do, pay for spins?

the real hustlers must be busy with the south
