And the whole Pac-10 is ranked in the top 25 as far as SoS(Stregth of Schedule) is aconted for.

If you notice, the SEC, for SOME reason, plays ALOT of Div-1AA teams and really weak teams for the OOC.Alot of people would agree that the SEC as a whole is the toughest conference to play in.If you look at the actual numbers by 5 different BCS committee folks, the Pac-10 is the TOUGHEST conference to win in.Kinda makes all those USC NC's very much fought for.

Sagarin has every Pac-10 team except 1 in the top 10 for SoS(OrSU is at 15).

Heres the list.READ CAREFULLY:

I hate the way they bash Pac-10 and West Coast sports. When I lived back in Michigan for acouple years they gave no respect to us, and no one stayed up to watch any Cali games if they were even on out there. I'm a huge Cal fan, and they didn't help losing all 3 nationally televised games this year. But top to bottom Pac-10 is better then the SEC. Yes the top teams are good in the SEC but Miss st., Vandy, and the rest of the bottom suck ass.

Gringo is right, the SEC is hands down the best conference year after year. It is located right in that belt known as the "Pigskin Cult" with states who produce NFL players at an astronomical rate. As far as conferences go, here are the numbers in NFL Players Per Team:

1) SEC = 26.33
2) Big Ten = 25.45
3) ACC = 25.42
4) Pac-10 = 23.40
5) Big 12 = 18.17
6) Big East = 13.25

If any conference is top-heavy like GTS suggested, it is the Big 12. Miss State & Vanderbilt are a hell of a lot better than Baylor & Kansas.

I don't care what the BCS says right now, I just hope when all is said and done it is Ohio State vs. a 1-loss champion of the SEC b/c that team would be the most deserving.

West Coast people I feel you complaining about the East Coast bias. Washington got fucked out of a national championship opportunity in 2000 with the 3-way tie for #2 in the BCS (Florida State ended up getting to play Oklahoma). But the truth is, when it comes to football, the South does it better than we do.

So if Arkansas wins the SEC Championship Game, they should play Ohio St....even though Southern Cal brutalized them in their house.

That is a tough one, b/c I don't want to be a hypocrite (remember when we were furious when Miami was bitchin about Florida State goin in '00 b/c they beat Florida State, but we also had 1-loss and beat Miami). I guess I can't argue that Arkansas should win out over USC b/c I definitely think the Dawgs got screwed that year with the head to head stuff.

So I'll revise, if it's Florida, they deserve it, if it's Arkansas, give it to USC. But it's really too early to worry about this stuff b/c there's too much football to be played:

Arkansas might get ass-whooped by LSU this weekend, then Arkansas could bounce back and beat Florida in the SEC Championship. USC could beat Notre Dame and then turn around and get beat by UCLA. Then what happens?

It's a clusterfuck, but it's better than what we had in the past (nothing).

No Dawg fan can outright hate on the BCS b/c had it been in existence in 1991, we would've gotten a crack at Miami and whooped their fuckin bitch asses like we did in '94.

1 part of the equation is complete.
